How soon will I see results?
Many patients report subtle changes after their first session, including softer, smoother skin and improved skin tone and color.  However depending on your skin care goals, a session of 6-8 treatments, over the span of 4 weeks, is usually recommended for optimal results.  Many people like to continue with an occasional maintenance LED treatment once their session is complete.

How often should I receive a treatment?
The number of treatments necessary to achieve the desired results will vary depending on the patient’s needs. Typically, treatments are scheduled once or twice a week, with at least 72 hours between treatments, until results are achieved.

How are LED skincare treatments different from laser treatments?
Unlike lasers, LED lights do not heat the patient’s tissue, so there is no discomfort during LED therapy. Also, LED skincare machines use light with a longer wavelength, which permeates deeper levels of tissue. And whereas lasers deliver a precise, pinpointed light, LED light can be applied to the entire face during a treatment.

What is it like to receive an LED light therapy treatment?
The process is VERY relaxing for most.  Once you lay down, your technician will place goggles over your eyes before putting the LED light panel above your face.  Once the treatment begins, you will be receiving one (or several) different spectrums of light for 20-25 minutes.  It is important to stay sufficiently hydrated when utilizing LED, as it can stimulate a cleansing response, and on occasion make you feel a bit extra thirsty.
